12K Victorian Mini Mosaic Pendant with Malachite
This oval is 1 3/8” long and 1 1/8” wide. It has a twisted wire frame and is banded set. The mosaic is set in a green malachite
stone That has been hollowed out. The back looks like it was a pin at one time. The picture of a Roman building is very well done.
It circa dates to late 1800's and Victorian Jewelry. You can see a similair piece in " Collecting Victorian Jewelry" by Jeannene Bell,
on page 73. it is set in black Onyx. The metal frame test as 12K gold along with the applied necklace ring. The necklace ring
is 12K, but I believe the frame maybe 12K over another metal. It is in great condition and a great addition to any collection.
