Zealandia 925 Indian Pin

This pin is contemporary. Silver, Black Mussel & Fossil Walrus Tusk are some of the materials that make up this beauty. Jenny Byrne is the creator of these beautiful pieces. Her materials are from old village sites on the St. Lawrence Island, Alaska, according to her website “Zealandia Designs”. The Indian measures 2 ½” tall and 2 ¼” wide. He’s in very good condition.

Pennino Classic Gold Tone Leaf with Faux Pearl Pin

This is a new costume jewelry piece by Halcyon Studios out of Montgomery, Alabama. It is marked Pennino LTD, and it is called one of the Classic collections, created by Michael Whalton. It was created using the same old molds of the original pieces done in the 40's. These classics were made in limited quanites and are rapidly disappearing! Each piece is hand made, using the same traditions of it's predecessor, Adrian Scannavino of Pennino. It measures 2" square and has a faux pearl in the center of the gold tone leaf. The pearls are of old vintage with a wonderful coating.

Sterling Effie Calavaza Zuni Belt Buckle

This buckle is fairly new. It was produced in the last 10 years or so I imagine! Effie used turquoise from the Sleeping Beauty Mine and is known for her snake design. I’m not sure when she started, but I know of pieces she did in the 70’s. All are handcrafted by Effie, so no two buckles are the same. This has the two snakes and 7 pieces of Turquoise. It is signed on the back and in great condition. It measures 3 3/8” wide and 2 1/8” tall. This is a wonderful piece.

Large Navajo E. Spencer Sterling Spider Pin

This wonderful spider is “BIG” and contemporary. It measures 3 6/8” from front legs to back legs and 3” from side to side! It is marked Sterling E. Spencer, which is Ella Spencer a Navajo Artist. She is popular right now for her spider pins. This one is all silver and has no stones in it. Looks great on a black suit. It’s in very good condition.

Ian St. Gielar for Stanley Hagler Orange & Green Set

This set is really spectacular. The beads measure 17 1/2” from top beads to dangle. The beads are swirled green & orange with gold aventurine and black lines and little gold beads in between. It has a gold tone hook and a 3” bead tail. The large highly decorated pendant is 4” long by 2 ½” wide, including the green glass dangles. The earrings are 1 1/2” by 1 ¼” and are clip backs. The earrings are marked Ian St, Gielar and the necklace is marked Ian St. Gielar and Stanley Hagler NYC. This was produced in the last 5 to 10 years as a custom piece for someone. It's a special adornment for some one who really loves it!.

Gregory Pyra's Sterling Coral Ring

This is a new designer, so this ring is new, though made to look like it is Art Nouveau style. It is done in Sterling and marked, but has that antiqued silver look. The roses on top are hand carved coral. The ring is a size 6, and it is gorgeous on the hand. Gregory Pyra was born in Warsaw, Poland, and moved to the US in 1981. In 1994, he opened a studio in New Jersey, and made his "leaf" jewelry line. All pieces of this line were one of a kind. This ring was made between 1994 and 1996, according to Gabriel Pyra.

Sweet Romance is a contempory company. It was started in 1980 by it's chief designer, Shelley Cooper. I think it was featured on the cover of a magazine, but I still haven't found it yet. It measures 5 ½” long and 2 ¾” at the widest part. The metal is antique silver and it has clear diamantes. It’s in wonderful condition. This is definitely a collectors piece.

The metal is antique silver and it has clear diamantes. It’s in wonderful condition. This is definitely a collector’s piece.

John Catalano Blue & Purple Rhinestone Set

WOW! What an eye popper! This set is very 3 dimensional and certainly shines. The pin is 4" tall and almost 3" wide. It is set in silver tone metal with a depth of ¾". The purple and blue marquis & pear cut rhinestones are just fabulous. The back has a brass plaque signed John L. Catalano, who is a newer designer. He is lovingly refered to as "The Eisenberg man", because he does restore any and all old Eisenberg pieces! The earrings in this set are clip backs and measure ! ¼" square.

"Tis the night before Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse!" This mouse is stirring! He looks like he's partying! Lawrence VRBA Christmas Tree Pin

It is made by a designer that used to work for Marium Haskell Jewelry in the 70's. Mr. Vrba unique three dimensional-Christmas Trees have a variety of different sizes and colors of rhinestones.m This is but one example.

This tree is 4 ¼" tall by 3" wide and also set in an antique silver tone! Again, it is done in the traditional three-dimensional hand set rhinestones! The large stones in this tree are green transparent rhinestones with frosted streaks surrounded by light blue smaller rhinestones. It has gold pear shaped candles. This tree is magnificent, but not for the timid! Be Brave and wear this tree for Christmas this year!
