Black Sequined 50’s Dress ( About size 6)

What a beautiful dress! Measurements: Bust 34”, Waist 24” and Hips 35”. The dress is all black sequins and the top is lined, the bottom (Skirt ) is not lined. The measurement from the waist to the hem is 24”. This dress is a knock-out when worn! There is a picture of me, 21 years ago with this dress on! (And a wig!) It is still in great condition for it’s age.

Late 1950’s Cashmere Ladies Suit

This suit was my Mothers and was purchased in Petoskey, Mi. at the Ed Behan Tweed Shop. They also had a shop in Ft. Lauderdale. It has the herringbone light grey and white tweed cashmere material with the belted waist. The jacket & the skirt are both lined with Satin or silk material.The belt measures 32 ½” by 1” wide. The jacket‘s lining is a light redish brown color and the skirt is a grey! The jacket has a fabulous embroidered “Horse & Carriage” on the pocket. I would say this is a size 6. Measurements: Bust, 35”, Waist 24 ½” , Hips 36” The skirt has sewn down pleats in the front and measures 24” from the bottom of the waist piece to the hem. (It does have a 3 ½” hem on the skirt, so it could be lengthened.) The jacket has a little flare at the waist and measures 22” from the bottom of the collar seam to the bottom of the jacket. No where is it marked Cashmere, but it is! It’s in great condition

Early 1960’s Turquoise Color Leather Dress

This is great! This dress reminds me of Nancy Sinatra’s song “These boots are made for walking”. Just put some tall white patented boots with it! The dress is all lined in turquoise satin type material. It was also one of my Mom’s. It was purchased in Petoskey at Harold Grant’s Store. Harold Grant had stores in Boco Raton, Palm Beach , Naples and Petoskey, Mi. The other label inside this dress says Samuel Robert. It has a Size 10 on the inside seem, but it’s not today’s 10. The measurements: Bust 35”, Waist 32” , Hips 37. It an “A” line dress. The length from top of neckline to bottom of hem is 37”. (It has a 1 ¾” hem). It is in great shape and if I could still wear it, I would! It is a great addition to any collection.

Late50’s Cocktail Mult-Sparkle Long Dress

This dress is just way too cool! It has long sleeves and a long skirt. It is definitely a “Go out for the evening Dress”an “I want to be noticed, Dress.” The material is very colorful see through with gold threads running through it! (Almost like a silk scarf material: You can tell, I don’t sew!) It is lined with a satin turquoise, all but the sleeves. It has a sash type belt with a material covered buckle. The label inside says ALDRICH and no other marks or labels. Measurements: Bust 36”, Waist 26”, Hips: Generous skirt (gathered.) Length: 40” from waist. Sleeves: from top of the shoulder to end 23”. Belt: 35” long by 3 ¼” wide. Now, The condition is really good and wearable, but under the arms it could use some repair. And one sleeve has a little rust colored stain on the inside, not noticeable at all, unless carefully examined! . (If you need more pictures, just email me!) It really is a stunner on!
