Green Invisible Set Deco Dress Clip

This dress clip is really unusual with its two clips on the back. Most dress clips have only one clip mechanism. It measures 2 ¾” by1 ½” and is in the shape of a half circle. It is set in gold tone pot metal and has square green rhinestones. They are invisibility set in a channel. It is fairly hefty weighing 30 grams or 1 oz. It was from the 20’s or 30’s. It is in great condition!

Set of Two Gold Tone Blue Leaf Dress Clips

These dress clips have blue oval faceted rhinestones and small clear chatons and are made in the shape of a leaf.. Each clip is 1 7/8” by 1 3/8” wide and set in gold tone. They are from the 30’s probably and look great on that black or dark blue blazer or sweater! They are in good condition, with only slight wear to the gold tone coating!

Enameled Flower Silver Tone Dress Clip

This adorable dress clip is made in silver tone filigree type metal with enameled flowers on top. The flowers are red, yellow, white & blue with rhinestone centers. It even has green enameled leaves. Some of the enameling on the flowers (yellow & blue) has chipped off, so look at the pictures carefully. The clip mechanism has Pat.1852188 marked on it, but no other markings. It measures 2” by 1 3/8” and the clip is tight.

Unique Glass Bowl Basket Dress Clip

The basket dress clip is pot metal with a brass looking coating or gold tone. The bowl of this basket has a wonderful clear faceted glass stone. The stone is really in good shape with no nicks or chips. The basket has metal three dimensional flowers with rhinestone centers (which have clouded with age). It measures 2 ¾” tall and 2 ½” wide. It’s a great clip ot the dress clip or basket collector!

Apple Juice Bakelite Reverse Carved, Painted Dress Clip

This dress clip measures 2” tall by 1 3/8” wide. It is apple juice color Bakelite and is carved on top with a design. It is also carved on the underside with flowers which are painted different colors. The clip is set in with tiny screws which are solid, but the metal part moves a bit, not enough to cause any problems wearing it or opening & closing the clip! The clip is silver tone and has no markings. This is a really great Bakelite dress clip ( collectors item) and deserves a good home!

Pastel Glass Flower Fruit Salad Dress Clip

This dress clip measures 2 1/2” by 1 1/2” and is set in silver tone pot metal. It has wonderful glass flowers and leaves in pastel colors of pink, blue & green, sometimes called Fruit Salad stones. It also has small clear chatons páve set. It has no marking, but it looks like an unsigned Mazer. I believe it’s from the 30’s or 40’s.

China Silver Gold Washed Cinnabar Carved Clip

This dress clip is marked Silver China. The carved Chinese Lacquer is beautifully done and very detailed. The clip measures 2” by 1 3/8” wide and has a gold wash over the silver metal. The clip mechanism is missing the spring that makes it nice and tight, so technically it’s broken! I can’t fix it, but a good jeweler could. Hence the price is appropriate!

Red Bow Triangular Shaped Dress Clip This wonderful old dress clip has beautiful red rhinestones. The top is a bow and the bottom is a triangle shape. It measures 2" by 1 ¾". The bottom has black enamel edging on the sides. ( Circa 1920’s to 30’s) It is in good condition. Take a look at it being worn on a black V neck vest!

Pair of Morning Glory Green Satin Glass Dress Clips These clips are very nice! The green molted glass stone in each on is set on top of a cast flower! It looks like a Morning Glory to me! They are both set in all gold tone metal. They measure 2" by 1". They clips both work very well and they have that Art Nouveau look., but I’d date them to the 30’s or early 40’s.

Multi-Colored Dress clip It is 2” long and 1 ½” wide, wonderful open backed, unfoiled back. It is gold tone over pot metal. There are 5 gold tone leaves decorating the piece near the center, one is missing. (Should be 6 leaves, looks like) The colors are citrine, blue, green, purple, & red. It really is a stunning dress clip! I love these older ones!

Large Clear and Red Deco Dress Clips

What a wonderful pair of Deco Dress clips from the 30’s. These two clips are both 2 1/8” by 2 ¼”. They are set rhodium silver tone and the red square rhinestones are set in a channel type setting. The clear stones are Pave bead set.

This dress clip is in excellent condition! It is old Bakelite with the carved accents. The Clip is a silver tone metal and marked Made in the USA. The clip appears to be heat set in the plastic.

Mandle Gold Tone Fur Clip

This fur clip is almost a deco style, but it appears to be made in the 60’s not the 20’s. Not many fur clips were made that late , as they were most popular in the 40’s and 50’s. It measures2” y 1 ¾” and has a green glass cabochon in the middle. It is marked Mandle.

Set of Apple Juice Bakelite Dress Clips

These gold tone Bakelite Dress Clips also have aqua chaton rhinestones! They measure 1½" by 1½" and have tiny metal leaves on the top embellishing the design. The Bakelite Apple Juice cabochons are semi-opaque! The finding or clip mechanism is etched with a petty design on one side and marked on the reverse side with a capital "R". This clip is pictured in "Unsigned Beauties of Costume Jewelry", by Marcia Brown on page 244. A wonderful set for any collector of Bakelite or costume jewelry!

Enamel Green Flower Fur Clip

This wonderful flower is not marked, but is really cool. The middle of the flowers have green colored rhinestones and all in good condition. The leaves are enameled in green and on all separated wires. It measures 3 3/4" tall and 2" wide and it has the two prong gold tone fur clip. It is probably from the late 30's to the early 40's.
