1920 Ethel Paris New York Flapper Fancy Cloche Original Hat

This Cloche is exceptional! It has the Label inside that says “Ethat Hat” Paris New York. I can only find one reference for this in a May 1,1920 (The Illustrated Milliner-Manufacturers Addition) for a Ethel Hat Company. It said that The Ethel Hat company, 40 West 39th Street, New York had an increase in Capital of $9.000 to $25,000. This hat seems to be from that era. It has brown Velvet and embroidery all over the hat. You must look at the pictures. It is very hard to describe! It is in very good condition, with the lining just a little worn.

Whittall & Shon Wonderful Pink Rhinestone Large Hat

This hat is fabulous! It has rhinestones, feathers, and pink satin type material. The hat measures 15 inches in diameter at the brim. The crown is 4 inches high from the rhinestones up. The inside crown measures 23 inches. The brim measures 5 inches from the rhinestones at the crown to the rhinestones on the brim. It is in excellent condition.

Whittall & Shon Toupe Color and Rhinestones Top Hat

This Whittall & Shon is a great top hat! The color is toupe or light gold-brown. The rhinestones are in a bow and the center has a great rhinestones flower center. The brim is asymmetrical with it a longer side on one side of the brim. The brim measures 31” around. The smaller side of the crown is 4” tall, while the bow side is 5” tall. The bow measures about 9 inches across. This hat is in great condition. It is beautiful.

Whittall & Shon Hot Pink Sequin Pill Box with Tassel

> This hat is stunning. It is marked Whittall & Shon and made with hot pink sequins. It has a material large bow and a yarn tassel. It measures 26 inches around the bottom and 24.50 inches around the top. It has a big bow measuring 11” wide. The tassel is 5” long. It is in very good condition.

Olive Commons White and Platinum Painted Pin

This Olive Commons pin is not signed, accept the frame, which is maked Sterling. It measures 1” wide and ¾”” long. It has some of the platinum worn off, but can only be seen by a loop. Olive Common produced these platinum painted pins in the 20's to 30's and can be seen in Florida's Golden Age of Souvenirs 1890 to 1930, by Larry Roberts. This particular pin is on page 185.

Custom Made Beaded Cream Color Cloche

This hat is from the 20’s It has white beads and cream straw-like threads. It has a black folded crepe material in the front (or it could be on the side) In the middle of the fold is a celluloid dancer piece with faux pearls & rhinestones! It is missing some of the pearls and rhinestones, but they could be replaced. Around the base of the hat is material that has some wear, if you look carefully you can see it in the pictures. So, the cloche is in pretty good condition for the age!

Reja Sterling Vermile ‘Fly’ Set

This set has a cute little fly pin and screw-back fly earrings. The fly pin has an amber stone body and marked Reja sterling. It measures 1 ¼” by 1 3/8”. The earrings are screw-back earring that measures 1” square and are marked sterling. This set was designed by Solomon Finkelstein for Reja, Inc. in 1945.

Large Original Eisenberg Aqua Bow Brooch

This silver tone bow pin is 3 ¼” wide by 2 3/8”. It is signed Eisenberg Original and a “Y” in a circle, which is the setters mark. It is in wonderful shape. This is a great bow pin in great condition.

This Eisenberg Original is a fur clip made of pot metal. The clear rhinestones are open backed and not foiled. It measures 3 ¼” long by 2”. Some of the stones have darkened and could be replaced, but I like it as it is. It is great condition!

Black Felt Small Tilt Hat with Blue Feathers & A Black Curly Top

This hat is really cool! I’m not sure what age this is or whether it’s original. It has a pear shape with a tag in back and measures 9” long and 6” wide. It is 5 ½” tall from bottom to top. The material flower on the top is pinned on. It has black ribbon ties and is in good condition.

Large Yellow Bakelite with metal Key Brooch

This Bakelite key pin measures 4 ¾” long by 1 7/8” wide! It has 2 dangling chains from the bottom and metal with Greek key designs on it. The pin is heat set on the back and all is original. What a great piece of Bakelite!

Unsigned Mariam Haskell Dangle Pin

This is a beautiful faux baroque pearl dangle pin. It has all the characteristics of a M. Haskell pin, but no signature. It measures 3 ¾” in length and 2” in width. It has the turquoise beads wired to the setting and the antiques gold findings. The 3 large faux baroque pearls dangle from the bottom. There is a bit of green verdigris around some of the finds at close glance, but can’t be seen as a whole. It is in good condition.

This is a unique pin and quite heavy. It weighs 45 grams! It is signed Kreisler in the pin stem and has only one green rhinestone in it. It measures 3 ½” tall by 3 ¼” wide. It has a brass tone metal for the leaves and a gold tone metal for the flower. It is a very good looking brooch on when worn!

Coro Craft Sterling Vermeil Green Flower Duette

This striking sterling silver with gold vermeil is marked Coro craft and Sterling on the clips. Green and clear rhinestones accent the tiny flowers in a ribbon wrapped bouquet of each fur clip. . A duette is two fur clips that are made to fit together in a special pin back holder that combines into one pin. Separate them from the holder to have two fur clips or recombine to have one larger pin. The whole pin measures 3 1/8" by 1 5/8”. It is in good condition.

Weiss Pink Trembler Turtle Pin

This cute little turtle is pink and set in gold tone metal. It is a trembler. A “Trembler” is a pin that has a part on a small spring that jiggles! The top of the turtles body is supported by a spring and jiggles. It measures 2 1/8” by 1 ¼” and ¾” in depth. If you wear this trembler , don’t wear a coat , it will catch. I speak from experience. Christian Dior Medium Pink, Yellow , Green and Orange Hat

This hat is marked Christian Dior Chapeaux Paris-New York , with a Madalyn’s Kenmore label sewn in. It has a medium brim of 4” from the crown. It has a height of 4 ½” The brim is ringed with all pastel shades of orange, pink, green and yellow. It measures 22” around the inside. It’s a very pretty hat. It needs some care in possible reshaping, (can be worn as is) and is otherwise in good condition.

Sterling Mazer Retro Brooch

This retro piece is marked Mazer Sterling and is quite heavy. It weighs 50 grams. It measures 3 1/8” by 2 3/8”. Unsigned 1920’s Mariam Haskell Pin

This brass pin with the dangling green glass beads is wired in place, just as the early unsigned M. Haskell pieces were. It has not been verified, but I believe, it is a Haskell. It is 2 “ by 2 1/8” and in fair condition. There is some corrosion on the brass part of the pin.

1940’s or 30’s Tilt Grey Velvet Small Hat

This hat is marked with a Original Roberta Bernay’s label. It is 9 ½” in diameter and 2” high in the crown. It has a bow and netting. The netting is very long and hangs down about 18” from the brim. It has big velvet dots on it and each end has a small 4 teeth comb attached. It has been worn and loved. The inside could use a good steam cleaning.
